Some providers are considered “In Network” with a few insurance companies. Accepted Insurance Plans: Tricare West, CHAMPVA, HealthNet, Aetna, Cigna, United Health Care, Optum, IEHP, Behavioral Health System (BHS), Managed Health Network (MHN). If your insurance plan covers “out of network” providers, we can provide you’re an invoice, commonly referenced as “Superbill” to submit to your insurance company for reimbursement of services.

Some steps you can take before calling our office are to call your insurance company and ask:

• How much is my co-pay for in-network-providers?
• Do I have out-of-network mental health insurance benefits? If so, what is the % that is covered for out-of-network providers? What is my co-insurance?
• Do I have a deductible, and has it been met?
• Do I need an authorization prior to starting treatment?

***Please be aware that submitting information to insurance companies requires disclosure of personal health information specific to the treatment.

The office requires that you notify us at least 24 hours in advance if you need to cancel a scheduled therapy session. All missed or last-minute cancellations will be billed directly to you at your session rate. *Insurance plans will not cover the charges for missed or last-minute cancelled appointments.

All services not covered by insurance such as letter writing, consultations with other providers, record reviews, report writing, school observations, court proceedings & attendance and travel costs to/from requested meetings are at the cost of the member and will be discussed prior to performing these services.
