Rebecca Stucky
Registered Associate Professional Clinical Counselor, 19606
Supervised by: Anela Richie
I am an Associate Professional Clinical Counselor (APCC) who loves to work one-on-one with people and listen to their stories while walking with them through the challenges life brings. I received my bachelor’s in psychology at California Baptist University and my masters in Counseling Psychology with a Specialization in Children and Adolescents at Azusa Pacific University.
I have gained experience while in graduate school through volunteering at a children’s grief camp as a counselor and was a trainee therapist at a private K-12 last school year. Working with and counseling children is my passion, but I believe that people of all ages can benefit from letting themselves get creative and not taking themselves too seriously. My approach to counseling relies heavily on meeting Carl Roger’s three conditions: congruency, empathy, and unconditional positive regard. I also incorporate hands-on activities, games, or simply deep and meaningful conversations. I am open to both in-person and telehealth appointments.
In my free time, I love reading and writing. My favorite way to end the day is getting lost in a good book!
