Tanyya Hood is a dedicated mental health professional with a Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice and a Master’s degree in Social Work. She currently pursuing licensure as a Clinical Social Worker and is a Doctor of Social Work student. Tanyya is deeply
passionate about helping individuals navigate life’s challenges and uncover their inner strengths. She believes that obstacles often reveal our greatest capabilities, and that self-love and confidence are essential tools on the journey to personal growth.

With extensive clinical experience, Tanyya specializes in treating depression, anxiety, and PTSD. Her therapeutic approach incorporates evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), anger management, and treatment of substance use disorders. She works from a strength-based perspective, tailoring her services to meet the unique needs of each client.
